Audubon Arizona will launch a special lecture series for the Grammy Award-winning Phoenix Chorale on Tues., Sept. 11:  “Our Desert Rivers Heritage – A  Rich Legacy of Place and Sound” will be presented in a new collaboration between the two organizations.  This will be the first of four pre-concert series lectures that weave together cultural, musical, and natural history as inspirational preludes to choral artistry throughout the 2018-19 season of singing.  The event is free and open to the public, starting at 6:00 p.m.; location:  Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Center, 3131 S. Central Ave., in Phoenix.  Presenters will be Audubon Arizona colleagues Dr. George A. Martinez and Haley Paul.  For more information, visit https://www.phoenixchorale.org/specialevents/
