Plants can be purchased at the Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center during business hours: 9am to 4pm Tuesday through Friday, 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
Audubon’s fall plant starts on Saturday October 9 and continues until we run out of plants. Our inventory includes Desert Milkweed and Chuparosa in five-gallon pots and other favorites such as Desert Marigold, Red Justicia, Mexican Evening Primrose, and three species of Penstemon in the one gallon size. These beauties will delight you and your yard visitors (both feathered and otherwise) for years to come so get yours before we run out.
Planting native plants is one of the best things individuals can do to help the planet. Added bonus: it’s fun! We hope to see you soon and happy gardening!
