Join us for a fun and educational hands-on art workshop! This month, we are diving into cyanotype prints. The name 'cyanotype' comes from the Ancient Greek words for 'dark blue' and 'mark/impression/type'. Cyanotype prints are monochrome, cyan-blue images created using a camera-less photographic process involving light-sensitive iron salts. We will place objects on a pre-prepared light-sensitive surface and expose it to ultraviolet light, usually sunlight. Once the sun reacts with the paper, we will reveal our unique prints. Create artwork in our Cyanotype prints class, where the magic of sunlight and chemistry merge to produce stunning blueprints.
