Winter break: Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center will be closed December 22 to January 1, reopening January 2.

Open Hours: Tuesday — Saturday | 8:00 am — 12:00 pm
We are closed Sunday - Monday, and during most holidays.
Even when we are closed, the birds are still here! Hiking and bike trails all around Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area are open for free, 7 days a week - 365 days a year, from dawn to 7 p.m. or dusk (whichever comes first).
Free Guided Bird Walks - Every first and third Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Please meet inside the center 5-10 minutes before departure time. Read more details here.
Note: Due to ongoing light rail construction, currently only the north-bound lane on Central Avenue has access to our entrance. If traveling in south-bound lanes, simply u-turn where permitted.
