Find out more at this program featuring a DVD of Arizona hummingbirds and their remarkable nesting behaviors, plus Qs and As, and an outdoor walk to see what hummingbirds—and other birds—are hanging around the Center.

Saturday, April 9, 7:00am-10:00am- Desert Dozen: Common Birds of the Desert/Urban Interface
So maybe pigeons aren’t your favorite bird, but they have saved a lot of lives! Find out more about them, plus quail, grackles, house sparrows, mockingbirds, mourning doves, and more—a dozen of the species we see most days. Classroom time will be augmented by outdoor time to see how many of these common birds we can find.
