Annual Plant Sale

Fall Plant Sale at Rio Salado starts on Saturday, October 8th!
Fall Plant Sale at Rio Salado starts on Saturday, October 8th!

Fall is the time to plant for birds and pollinators, and we’ve got you covered.

Our fall plant starts on Saturday October 8 at the Urban Wildlife Conservation Day celebration on the north side of the Rio Salado at Central Avenue. The sale will continue out of the Rio Salado Center after opening day, and will last until all plants are gone (see a list of available plants here).

Has all of that gardening made you thirsty? Quench your thirst in Phoenix’s only Bird Friendly Beer Garden! On October 9th from 9am to noon, we'll be selling plants and enjoying Hummingbird Springs Sour Ale at Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company's Downtown Phoenix location. Swing by for some plants and a pint!

Planting native plants is one of the best things individuals can do to help the planet. Added bonus: it’s fun! We hope to see you soon and happy gardening.

More Plants for Birds

Did you know that you can provide critical habitat for Arizona's wildlife in your own backyard? By planting native flowering plants, trees, and shrubs, you can become part of the growing movement to create pockets of habitat within the city that are essential to the survival of our native birds, butterflies, bees, and more! Learn about what to plant, where to get them, and which birds you're benefiting with Audubon's Plants for Birds database.
