Southbound Art House Workshops
Workshops will be held on Saturday January 28th 1:30-3pm
Join us at the Audubon center to particapte in an art workshop presented by Venessa Chavez from Southbound Art House, a South Phoenix based that "envision[s] a safe space for students of all ages to gain access to community engaged learning through all facets of art education."
Each month Venessa will lead a guided skills workshop desgined for students aged 9-18 and their parent/or guardian on different art techniques, and particpants will be able to take their project back home!
South Phoenix residents (85040, 85041, and85042) can attend programs at no cost. For all other residents, tickets are $10.

September: Create a digital self portrait using the provided iPads.
October: Students will be able to Discuss and create Calaca mask used for Day of the dead celebration.
November: Students will be able to discuss Arizona desert plants, and create a water color and ink artwork from living plants.
December: Students will be able to discuss hummingbirds and create a print inspired by hummingbirds.
January: Students will be able to Discuss what a vision board is, how it can be used to goal set and create their personal vision board.
