Tapping Into Conservation: Summer Brew
We're getting ready to tap the first keg of Western Rivers Ale! Join us for the launch party at the Rio Salado on August 1st!
What is the Western Rivers Action Network (WRAN)?
WRAN is a multi-state network of citizens who wish to take an active role in protecting rivers.
Coordinated in Arizona by Audubon Arizona, network members are alerted to local opportunities for involvement and are provided the tools and resources they need to take action. Advocates are able to share resources, materials, strategies, challenges, successes, and lessons learned while providing the coordination that is crucial to the ongoing protection of the Colorado River Basin and the rivers within it.
Protecting our rivers is one of the most critical conservation challenges facing us today. As individual citizens, agencies, and organizations our potential for success is limited, but as a community we can rise to this historic challenge and create healthier rivers for both wildlife and people.
